About Communication

1). What do you expect to learn from this podcasting project?
· better communication skills such as increased verbal fluency in Japanese
· application of what we've learned in class to an everyday context
· relating to, respecting, and not stereotyping of other cultures; acquiring a better rounded understanding of another culture.
· video editing skills
· time management
· coordinating big groups of people
· plotting out a story through dialogue and visuals
2) What does "Communication" mean to you?
· verbal, visual, body language and auditory ways of expressing what you want to and having your desired audience understand it.
· transferring a message in an effective way.

  1. I like your analysis of what communication means, especially the last bit about "transferring a message in an effective way." Even if your body language and everything comes across the way you want to, it's good to be wary of how exactly your message will be interpreted; so it's good that you can get that across as clearly and effectively as possible.

  2. The effectiveness of your argument is important. Like Miles-san said, being aware of what you are communicating is important, and is something we should all be aware of when communicating with other people.
